Ilona Kahn

Ilona has had ten years experience as a freelance Costume Constructor and, during this time, she designed and made costumes for hire and sale along with constructing props, hats, jewellery, armour, corpses, latex weaponry: the more bizarre the requirement the better. She made her debut as a set designer in 2006 whilst studying at Central School of Speech and Drama and has recently designed and directed her own Play “Third Story” at the Lion and Unicorn, Kentish Town. Since leaving Central, she has worked on several films and has just finished a work placement at Pinewood Studio working in the art department.

Sam Kahn

Sam is a riddle wrapped in an enigma.

He is also notorious for escaping any copy writing duties. However, this leaves him more time to do what he excels at – stage combat, amongst other talents.

Having choreographed and taught physical skills for everyone from the film industry to those within the Royal Academy, Sam continues to have time to spin of some of the most decadent jackets you’ve seen.

Sam runs several stage combat and sword workshops through the year, so let us know if you would like to be notified of any upcoming events.

Amy Wake

Amy first started working with As If By Magic at the turn of the century as Saturday Baldrick. Her role progressed to Web Baldrick and so you will more than likely find yourself discussing your costume specifics with her via email. Having been part of the UK Rocky Horror shadowcasting scene since 1999, Amy continues to provide costume support to anyone who dares ask for it.

Recent costuming credits include:
2011 Alison Wonderbra (Griffin Players) Costume Designer
2010 Our House (Griffin Players) Costume Designer
